Employer costs from Benefit Bike service

Employer costs towards Vapaus depend on their service plan.

Our invoicing is completely transparent: it includes the monthly repayment of the bike (often later deducted from the employee's salary) as well as an employer office fee.

The office fee is defined by the plan chosen by the employer

  • Vapaus Starter: 0€ / month
  • Vapaus Pro: 12€ / month
  • Vapaus Enterprise: 16€ / month

As an employer, by deducting the monthly tax-free benefit from the salaries, you also save on the side costs of employment: the health insurance charge gets reduced, making the bike benefit even more of a bargain than it already is.

Vapaus Pro - example:

  • Tax-free monthly repayment: €100 / month
  • Vapaus Pro office fee: €12 / month
  • As an employer, you save €100 / month in salary costs - this means that the health insurance charge (1,53% = €1,53) is "saved" each month whilst offering the benefit
  • True cost per employee: Tax-free monthly repayment (€100) + office fee (€12) - savings in salary costs (€100) - savings in health insurance charge (€1,53) ≈ €10,50 / month

 

It is also possible to offer the benefit either fully or partially on top of the salary. In this case, the employer's costs increase approximately by the same amount as the benefit is offered on top of the salary.

No hidden costs, our monthly fees include everything

Vapaus monthly fees include VAT, billing costs, customer service for both employers and employees, benefit launch, instructional materials, bike handling fees, the Vapaus App, unlimited users, payroll information, consultations, and the overcompensation of the lifecycle emissions of all bikes.

Cancellation coverage

Our cancellation coverage policy increases flexibility and prevents potentially expensive outcomes when a contract has to be terminated. With the cancellation coverage option, a contract can be cancelled before the planned end of the leasing period by returning the bike to Vapaus. The cancellation process is handled directly between Vapaus and the beneficiary, followed by an automatic notification to their employer.

Cancellation at any time after the first 6 months of the leasing period costs the employee 260€* payable directly to Vapaus. The employer can also choose to cover the cancellation fee.

If the employer does not offer cancellation coverage**, the employee can apply for the service directly with Vapaus. However, this option is more expensive for the employee.

Without cancellation coverage, the contract can be terminated by redeeming the bike by paying all outstanding costs. The bike can also be moved to a new employer or to another employee if all parties agree.
