The manufacturer is liable for material defects for 24 months from delivery for all new benefit bikes. Some manufacturers offer a longer warranty for non-moving parts like frames or rigid forks. Vapaus Precycled bikes have a 12 month warranty. For other second hand bikes, please check with the original retailer.

Who pays for repairs?
Regular maintenance*, replacement wear-and-tear parts and repairs due to user error are your responsibility. If there's a defect that can't be explained by those three, you should make a warranty claim using this guide.

Do you suspect you have a defect that falls under warranty?
The liability for defects does not cover damages resulting from disregard of the user manual, inadequate maintenance or normal wear and tear. Still, the warranty terms vary by manufacturer, bike and bike part, so please check the terms with your manufacturer first.

- A Finnish partner store
- Partner stores will handle your warranty issue, if you have ordered the bike directly from them (either in person or self-order from web shop). Please contact the partner store directly. Vapaus customer care will assist if needed
- Canyon
- Ordered in November 2022 or later? Your order has been made via Vapaus x Canyon integration, and all warranty issues are handled directly by Canyon.

Please note that if your bike has been damaged by an external cause, and you need to select "insurance event" as reason for contacting on the form, instead of complaint/claim.
