Our operations have a verified net-positive impact on the environment and society, and we are committed to compensating for our environmental footprint through concrete actions. For your company, the bike benefit is an effective way to promote sustainable mobility, improve employee wellbeing, and align with tightening EU regulations.
Independent Measurement and Transparency (The Upright Project)
We believe in transparency, not just buzzwords. We measure our net impact through The Upright Project, an assessment based on scientific data that measures a company's impact across various areas of sustainability.
Top-tier Results: Vapaus holds an excellent AA rating. According to Upright's independent evaluation, Vapaus has a higher positive net impact per euro of revenue than 97.64% of Finnish and global companies—both within the mobility sector and generally.
ESG Reporting: We strive to make our sustainability efforts and the impacts of our operations as transparent as possible. Our annual ESG report provides a comprehensive overview of our goals and results.
Climate Action and Carbon Offsetting
We track our carbon footprint and actively develop our operations to minimize it. In the 2024 financial year, Vapaus produced a total of 979 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent. We have compensated for these emissions by retiring 979 high-quality carbon removal credits through Supercritical. Our partnership with Supercritical is based on authentic Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) and rigorous project assessment.
Commitments
We are committed to the UN Global Compact initiative and its ten principles. We renew our commitment annually to uphold the highest international standards for responsible business.
