The benefit bike can be transferred to a new employer or colleague in the middle of the leasing period.
When you change employers, the bike does not always need to be redeemed or returned.
We also offer a third option: the BIKE TRANSFER 💡✨.
Note that with the bike transfer:

Only the bike (+ accessories) are transferred, not the existing contract or additional services.

Transfers are processed to the 1st day of each month, even if you change jobs mid-month.

Leasing duration, monthly taxable valua and redemption value at the end of the lease might change.
👉 Please notify Vapaus customer service via the Benefit Bike Transfer -form at least 1 month before the intended transfer date.
There are different options for bike transfers:
1️⃣ The benefit bike can be transferred to a new employer's existing Vapaus or Oomi Fillari -benefit with the new employer's consent.
Note that the contract cannot be paused, and the potential transfer to the new employer must occur immediately when your employment with your current employer ends. A bike transfer is not possible if the employment contract has already ended.
💡 Make sure to act in advance and ask your new employer’s consent for the transfer!
2️⃣ The benefit bike can be transferred to a colleague working in the same company and with written consent from both parties.
3️⃣ The benefit bike can be transferred from Vapaus to an employer, who offers the bike benefit through another leasing company.
We need to negotiate separately with the receiving leasing company about selling the bike to them. After that, they can create a new leasing contract for the bike, which will be tied to your new employer’s guidelines.
4️⃣ The benefit bike can be transferred to Vapaus from an employer, who offers the bike benefit through another leasing company.
We need to negotiate separately with the previous leasing company to buy the bike from them. After that, we create a new leasing contract for the bike, which will be tied to your new employer’s guidelines.
