The benefit bike can be transferred to a new employer or colleague in the middle of the leasing period.
When there are changes in employment, the bike does not always need to be redeemed or returned.
We also offer a third option, the BIKE TRANSFER 💡✨.
There are a few different options for transferring the bike:
1️⃣ The benefit bike can be transferred to a new employer's existing Vapaus benefit or Oomi Fillari benefit with the new employer's consent. Please notify Vapaus Customer Service of your interest in the transfer at least 1 month before the transfer takes place. Note that the contract cannot be paused, and the potential transfer to the new employer must occur immediately when your employment with your current employer ends (a contract transfer is not possible if the employment contract has already ended).
💡 So, make sure to act in advance and ask your new employer for consent to the transfer!
2️⃣ It is also possible to transfer the benefit bike contract to an employer who offers the bike benefit through another leasing company. Make sure to act in advance! Please notify Vapaus Customer Service at least 1 month in advance if you are interested in transferring the bike, as we need to negotiate separately with the leasing company about selling the bike to them. After that, they can initiate a new leasing contract for the bike with you, which will be tied to your new employer’s guidelines.
3️⃣ The benefit bike can be transferred to a colleague with written consent from both parties. Please get in touch with Vapaus Customer Service about 1 month before the transfer takes place, along with your colleague. You can add them as copy to the contact email.
